
Egyptian Rice
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck
1 small onion, chopped
2 cans beef broth
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained
1-cup raw rice
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Brown the ground beef and onion. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer until rice is done. To serve, put on top a spoonful of sour cream and sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds.
