Everett's Beef Stroganoff
Servings: Makes 8 Servings


Ingredients:
2 lbs. of beef tenderloin, lean sirloin will also do
16 oz sour cream
1 Large can of tomato sauce
1large onion
1 lemon
3 cups of whole mushrooms
Worcestershire sauce
6 cloves fresh garlic
Seasoned salt
2 sticks of butter not margarine
Pepper
Flour

Preparation:
Cut the meat into strips about one inch wide and 3 inches long, flour and lightly fry until brown all over.  Let it set. Sauté onions, mushrooms and garlic on low heat until it is soft. Stir in the tomato sauce and bring to a boil. Add juice of whole lemon, four dashes of Worcestershire, and season with salt and pepper. Stir in the sour cream slowly and simmer to a low boil. Sprinkle in the beef stirring slowly. Let it simmer for about ten minutes on low heat

Serve over white rice
